Is LazySplit a replacement for Splitwise?
For one-off bills, yes. For long-running shared costs like rent or a month-long trip, a running-balance app is still the better tool. Plenty of people use both.
Do my friends need to download an app?
No. LazySplit runs in the browser. You share a link, and friends open it, pick their name and tap what they had. They never need an account.
Is LazySplit free?
Yes. The free plan covers 1 active bill at a time, 5 bills every 30 days, up to 5 people per bill and 5 receipt scans a week. The Group plan (€4.99/month) raises those limits.
Does LazySplit handle payments?
No. It works out who owes what and tracks who has paid. Money moves however your group normally pays each other back.
